About Us
Food Service Equipment is now Citisco, a name from our past short for City Ice Company. While we are no longer in the ice business, we want to continue the heritage that was started with City Ice in 1929.
History
Citisco Food Service Equipment was started in 1965 as a division of City Ice Company, Inc.,
which was founded in 1929 and is still owned and run by the same family. Seventy years ago,
City Ice delivered blocks of ice by horse-drawn wagon to homes in North Georgia. Deliveries
had to be made twice a week to keep food refrigerated. Today, we continue to keep perishables
refrigerated through reach-in and walk-in coolers and freezers.
Inventory
We have over 5000 items in stock and many more available on special order. Our showroom is full
of new and used equipment, as well as supplies. Whatever your needs -- china, flatware, glassware,
cookware, cutlery, bar supplies, ice machines, equipment, seating, or custodial -- chances are we have
it for you at Citisco Food Service Equipment.
Ordering Parts
We handle parts and equipment for most manufacturers. When ordering parts, we need to know the following:
